Moe- The wandering goat

Oh boy am I so glad that Tuesday May 19 is in the past. As the wind whipped in the afternoon our animals outside became anxious. Well except big ol' Ely the bummer calf. First Starr the little Highland bull calf climbed over the fence in our front yard while I was in town; I come home to find Moe the goat out laying in the machine shed out back by the horses; as I am walking back to the house after helping work the last of this years calves I see our two horses wandering in the orchard; I realize that Moe the Goat is gone and no where to be seen. The Boys' and I are calling (probably can't hear us with the howling winds) and walking everywhere around the place...no goat. Aaron gets home to help look for Moe and guess what...the chickens escaped from their pen. UGH!!! We take a break from looking for a goat of all things for dinner and while Aaron gets the Boys' ready for bed I go on a search up the road. Just as I am turning to head home up 1/2 way up Bulger Flat Road defeated I see this goat looking at me from by a real old barn next to the road. Unfortunately I had traded my 4 wheeler for my car after I was froze from the nightly winds. Moe had to ride home in my car. Lets just say it was a very fast ride home as he isn't at all use to riding in a vehicle! So help me if anything escapes today.......................
