Coral's registered name is McFarlane's Coral. She is a Scottish Highlander that I bought a couple of weeks ago at a ranch in Bend. Coral is due any day to have a calf. We (including the neighbors) all can't wait till the little fuzz ball arrives.
Raising the Highlanders has always been a dream of mine. This breed is so intriguing,majestic and yet beastly like. Their eyes are like a cat eyes, not solid brown like other breeds of cattle. Also the cholesterol level of the highlanders meat is less than that of chicken.
