Freaky Night

Lets just say that Mom got a little freaked out tonight. Like usual I call Aaron when I am leaving work to let him know that I am heading home. This is when I found out that Justin and Aaorn jsut noticed that Justin was now covered with a spotty rash of some sorts all over his body. At first it was thought that maybe chicken pox had showed its ugly face in this Smith household. Then the thought of the meds that the boys are on came into play too. When I got home I seen my poor baby covered in spots. But my heart of hearts knew that it wasn't chicken pox. But it jsut didn't look right though. So as I am still on the phone with my Mom I am describing what I am seeing and the same exact time Mom and I both said "call the doctor." So that I did and I was able to get Justin right into the clinic while Aaron finished making his spaghetti dinner and helped Dawson with his homework. Justin and Dawson both have been on a form of amoxcillin for their ear infections. Long story short, Justin is now allergic to all forms of penicillin. The rash is the allergy reaction to the meds. So now he takes two different kinds of pills for the next six days and a special cream to help with the itching. Poor baby. Am glad now that I took tomorrow off. Justin can stay home as well too.
