This week has been a roller coaster ride by nature when you are raising two active Boys, have a awesome hubby that likes to keep busy, having to work and then there's the running of a household. This week the Boys started their two weeks worth of swim lessons in the BIG pool. They both are doing so darn well. Dawson is now at the top of his class and Justin would be if he'd quit being like his Mom and quit socializing so much.
I have been looking for another job for a while now. One that has a benefit package that hopefully included a retirement benefit as well. Out of all the jobs that I've looked at, I pulled only two interviews until this week when I did my third and final one. Too make a long story short, I didn't realize that I have emailed my resume to the Sterling Bank. There is a bit of a "Blonde" story with this one too! My best friend through high school's wife works at Sterling and helped with the hiring and I seen her at the boys (her oldest is Dawson's age) swim lessons on Monday night. Before saying hi she just bluntly asked if I wanted a job interview. So I went to that on Tuesday. Then tonight Claudia called and offered me a full time position. My first day will be August 6th and I will be in Portland that whole week for training. Now the fun part of finding daycare for the Boys while now both Aaron and I work. I have never thought about working in a bank. The postal service has been my life since 1995. It will be so hard to get out of my comfort zone but I am so tired of missing out on family things because I can't get a saturday off. You know I have never been able to take either Dawson or Justin to even an Eater Egg hunt. I have never worked at a job that even offered a retirement or life insurance pacakge. A peice of job security that sounds real cool to us. Maybe with the extra cash flow we will be able to take a family vacation to Uncle Phil & Aunt Annette's house down in Cedar City, Utah next year. Justin hasn't been there yet. And I really want to see Vegas again. Fun to watch all the people!
