Am getting so tired of fighting the grasshoppers. I want to be able to admire the beauty of a flower or taste the wonderful raspberries and vegies from our garden. The grasshoppers just want to invade, take over and eat everything in sight. I swear that for every grasshopper that the kids love to stuff in an old water bottle there are a thousand to take its place. Just look at the picture in this blog. Dawson grew me this marigold at school back in May for Mother's Day. We planted them in a pot and put them on the deck. Well all they are now is a brown skeleton of a plant and yet the grasshoppers still are coating it and eating on it. If the flowering shrubs and raspberry plants make it through this summer and come back next year I will be surprised.

Did you try a shotgun??? ;O)
Trade you some hoppers for some slugs.
No we won't! Slugs are easy to keep under control.
