Had to go bigger
With the Caliber, Aaron and I have never really been happy in it. The car is awesome don't get me wrong there. At 30mpg just running around, what is there to complain about. We just are not "car" kinda people. It was all about dollar signs at the fuel island a few years ago. With a car seat and two growing boys to be put in the back seat, well it just wasn't happening. Nor could it happen. The car just wasn't big enough. Then add in us having the kids friends with us too. So I made a phone call yesterday to our dear friend Paul at the Dodge dealership to see what, if anything, we could possibly do. We didn't think that there was a single thing we could do since we have only had the caliber for twenty months. Well like usual Paul worked his magic for us. And within a few hours we were in a 2007 Chrysler Aspen with TONS of room. And not bad on the fuel gauge either (20mpg running around). Not bad on the eyes. This lady loves chrome! The bad thing is that it won't fit into our little garage. Heck the caliber just barely did. So I mentioned to Aaron that since he and the kids have the "man cave" in the basement, I could have a "Momma's craft room/office" in the garage. Aaron's answer was to simply walk away. But a room where we can put out our scroll saw and other wood tools is good to. We both can get back into the wood crafts :o)
