Had our first measurable snow to the Valley floor come through our area yesterday afternoon until 2:am. Didn't last too long, about 12 hours. The Boys' actually got their bums in gear and got their chores done first thing this morning. They are outside playing in a few inches of snow, but to them it seems like a foot of snow. Yesterday during the snow storm and before Aaron left for work (he's lead man on a night shift this winter) we were out spreading gravel in our driveway to the garage. The local rock quarry has been shut down for a couple of months so JD hasn't been able to bring us any loads. It is so cold outside. The high today is only suppose to be 32* and then add it being windy on top of that. I know Dawson and Justin won't be too happy once Mom calls them in in an hour to warm up. At least that is one hour of quiet sleep for Aaron. He had to work overtime this morning. The roads are icy all over the county. I swear that once the snow falls, the crazy idiot drivers appear.
