Signs of Autumn in Eastern Oregon

This is Antone Creek. We cross it when we go up to our timber acreage. Not sure how I did it but looking at the picture right now it almost looks like it is a painting.
Autumn's patchwork quilt
First mountain snow seen from our house. A pasture of horses are in the green pasture.
The last soccer game it was so cold. At 10:15 it was a balmy 35* and the night before the school watered the soccer fields so there was a thin layer of ice in most places. Justin is the third on in line and Dawson is the fourth one from the left.
Aaron was successful this deer hunt. (The head and hide are draped over the old truck cab and the deer is hanging close to it. The Boys' were not happy with their Dad for hanging the buck in THEIR tree house) Sure would be nice if either him or Pa would get an elk this year. I think their elf hunts should be called a hiking trip that lasts a week. Aaron looks forward to elk season as it is just him and his Dad out in the mountains spending time together.
