Woke to this beautiful sight on Saturday, the first snow on the Elkhorn Mountains. Even though it was only a skiff of the white stuff and hard to see it snowed on them there hills. Today coming home from work there was more snow on the tops of the mountains and with the sunset it made it very magical looking. Maybe the Two Mighty Elk Hunters will have a bite of snow to help them in their search for the branches in 24 days. Last Friday coming home from work I had close encounters with a cow elk. Aaron couldn't help but ask me if it had branches or not. I think that he may have been looking for an easy kill.

Dawson is getting excited about his upcoming music program at school. It will be in the middle part of October and Justin's program in towards the middle of December. Dawson's musical has something to do with Dr. Suess.

The Boys and Dad included are a bit bummed out that I get Monday October 8th off and they all have school and work....but on Friday the 12th Aaron has his usual day off and the Boys have no school and Mom has to work till late like usual. I am so excited to have monday all to myself, except when the horse shoer comes first thing in the morning. One may never know where to find me on monday...its my birthday and I get to do what ever I want. YA!!! Yippy!!!!!
