Back Home :0)

This Picture was taken from my hotel room. What an awesome hotel we had too :0) We would cross the river, walk through the park and end up in the middle of the tall buildings in the distance.

Am so glad to be home after spending a hard week of training in Spokane, Washington. I do have to admit though it was nice to get away from everything familiar...for at least one day. Then I missed the Hubby, kids, animals and most of all the peacefulness of living in the country. Every morning Pam, Monette and myself would walk a mile to the Sterling corporate office for our training. It was a beautiful walk through riverside park. There is still the carousel that I rode back in 1975! We only went shopping once the whole time, unless you count having to stop at Rite-Aide so Monette and Pam could buy cigarettes. We went shopping at Macy's and had a blast on the 6th floor (clearance floor). I wish that we would have more time to shop though. I managed to keep Pam & Monette there for about thirty minutes. Just long enough for me to spend $275.00 on four items. No actually that's what the retail price would have been. I only spent $40 total. Even bought a dress for myself. Aaron couldn't believe that I even looked at dresses let alone bought one!

The CSR Training wasn't anything easy. We went to class from 9-4 every day and then some of us would go to dinner together and study even more. By Friday we all were burnt out to say the least! Then we all had to drive home. There were 8 of us that went to this training.
Lacey - Boise, Idaho Branch
Pam, Monette & Myself - Baker City Branch
Sarah & Terri - Moses Lake, Washington Branch
Rose & Anita - Missoula, Montana Branch
Terri, Rose and Lacey went and were in their own little click. Sarah was the loner of the class basically. The Anita, Pam, Monette & I were in our own little click. But we all got along and did things together also. Us old farts didn't want to do the "shopping & more shopping" so we would try to make our clogged brains work more.

Spokane is a nice city and all but it wasn't a place to walk around downtown by yourself either. So the three of us became the Three Musketeers and got to know so much about one another. Considering we just met the day that we left for Spokane (a week ago today) we know so much about one other and our families and have become close friends. The Baker City branch of Sterling Saving Bank just ain't gonna know what to do once we start working on the floor bright and early tomorrow morning :0) We all have an inside joke on Pam too!! Pam vs. The Pigeon....
