Fun Photos

Justin either had a hard day of learning at school or a hard day of playing at home yesterday. Dad went to go tell the Boys' that it was dinner time last night and this is how he found Justin.
This Smith clan really hasn't done a whole lot lately. Between working, school things and waiting to hear about a family member's health we just haven't felt like doing anything special. We have made plans for Spring Break this year. It is so nice to have Aaron working at a job that he is able to take time off and not have to worry about getting "spanked" after returning to work. Now if only I could have a job that could work with Aaron's schedule instead of against it. But I enjoy my jobs and enjoy the fact that I can take some of the financial burden off Aaron.
Both Boys' are going to spend one night with my folks this weekend. Wish it was a little longer though. One night away equals one night of good sound sleep for the parents and two nights away means that Aaron and I will feel up to going out to dinner or going to La Grande to a movie. Oh well. Life goes on. The Boys' have been stuck with good old Mom and Dad for a long while now 24-7 so they are welcoming a change of pace and scenery.
I worked all day yesterday in our yard. I have all the flower beds cleaned and plants trimmed. Even raked the whole yard and cleaned Moe's pen as well. Every day the color of Ireland, green, is making a come back. I am so ready for spring and maybe even early summer weather to arrive and stay. Plus as long as it stays nice and dry, that means that Aaron will be working on our living room. He has half of the chair rail and trim up. Now the fun part of framing the two windows and door and the other half of the chair rail to put up. Be real nice if he could finish it this weekend. I haven't been able to rid the house of sawdust particles yet.
Aaron has been working down towards Oxbow the first part of this week. He said that it was 70 degrees there on Monday. This Sunday we are hoping to take a "Sunday Drive" to Oxbow and have a picnic lunch. We are all looking forward to getting away from the house for the day.
You all have a terrific weekend. Blessing you with Sunshine & Smiles :0)
